# Division Eras

> RFFL division structure and naming eras.

RFFL division codes are stable, but structure and display names vary by era.

## Structure Eras

| Years        | Divisions      | Teams per division | Notes                             |
| ------------ | -------------- | ------------------ | --------------------------------- |
| 2002-2006    | AA, BB         | 5                  | 10-team founding period           |
| 2007-2009    | AA, BB         | 6                  | 12-team league with two divisions |
| 2010-present | AA, BB, CC, DD | 3                  | four-division structure           |

## Naming Eras

| Years        | AA                | BB             | CC               | DD                 |

| 2002-2020    | Random Chalk      | Drunk'n Rage   | Covert Creep'n   | Blackout Biscuit   |
| 2021         | ANOTHERCHIP       | BEYONDBLACKD   | CREEPMEARAGER    | DRUNKASBRADDY      |
| 2022-present | Aggressive Antics | Beyond Blacked | Combative Chirps | Drunkle Debauchery |

## Source Boundary

Store division codes. Display names should be chosen from the season year's era.
