# 2016 Draft Slot Timeout Decision

In 2016, RFFL adopted a clear consequence for missing the draft slot and keeper selection window.

## Decision

If a team fails to submit slot and keeper choices within the 24-hour window after the lottery, that team drops to the bottom of the slot-selection list and may choose only from remaining slots.
